Mini Egg White Chocolate Fudge Recipe - 4 ingredients and 5 minutes to prepare - easy chocolate fudge - fun homemade gift idea for Easter from Eats Amazing UK

Mini Eggs White Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 600g white chocolate
  • 400g tin condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 90g bags mini eggs

Method:

Line a small rectangular baking tray or cake tin with baking parchment.  If you don’t have any, tin foil also works.

Break or chop the chocolate into pieces and place in a large microwavable bowl.  Pour over the condensed milk and mix together well.

How to make white chocolate mini egg fudge - quick and easy fudge recipe from Eats Amazing UK - perfect for homemade Easter gifts

Pop the bowl into the microwave and heat in short bursts of around 30 seconds, taking it out and stirring in between, until the chocolate has almost melted.  Be careful not to overheat.

Once the chocolate is melted, beat well with a wooden spoon until it all comes together smoothly. Add the vanilla extract and stir to combine.

Pour half of the mini eggs into the tray and spread around. Tip the fudge into the tin and spread around so it is in an even layer in the tin.  Use a palette knife or spatula to smooth the top down. Scatter the remaining mini eggs on top of the fudge, pushing them into the fudge quickly before it sets.

Pop the tray of fudge into the fridge and leave to set for at least 2 hours or overnight.  Once it has set hard, take it out and cut into pieces.  I like to cut mine into 6 mini slabs and pack them in cellophane bags to give as gifts.

Hi Rhiannon, yes this recipe works with milk chocolate too, you don't need to use as much (500g instead of 600g) but otherwise follow the rest of the recipe as above. You can see some of my variations on this recipe made using different chocolates here: https://www.eatsamazing.co.uk/family-friendly-recipes/dessert-sweet-treat-recipes/super-easy-5-minute-3-ingredient-fudge-4-ways

Hi Lyndsay, thank you! You can make it on the stove top - melt the chocolate gently in a glass bowl over simmering water. I hope that helps!

Hi Charlie, I usually cut this recipe into 6 large squares, which each cut nicely into 9 smaller squares, so 54 servings total. I hope that helps!

Just made this with my girls as daddy's Easter present when he gets home! Took literally a minute in my microwave and it wasn't so hot that they couldn't help with stirring, etc! I have no doubt it'll set as it was getting there when I put it in the fridge! Looking forward to making myself some later too!

Hi Suzie, when making this recipe I've occasionally had a little oil separate from the chocolate, depending on the brand used. It shouldn't affect the taste at all, but in future you can soak it up by dabbing with a piece of kitchen paper whilst still warm and liquid. I've never had it separate completely though?
