Hi, I’m Grace, welcome to the Eats Amazing blog! Here on the blog you’ll find easy tutorials and simple family-friendly recipes to make food fun for your kids. I show how easy it can be to present food in new and interesting ways and hope to inspire you to get creative with your food too. I believe that getting kids excited about food can be a huge help when it comes to raising happy, healthy eaters!
I live in Hampshire with my two boys, aged fifteen and nine. After progressing from trained musician to accountant, to childminder, to mum, I finally found my creative spark again in parenting – turning the usually mundane task of feeding my children into a creative pastime! I find a lot of joy in making healthy, nutritious food, bento style packed lunches and tasty treats for my family, always with a fun twist!
I originally started the Eats Amazing blog in 2012 as a place to share the fun and creative bento lunches I was making daily for my older son. I’m still making the lunches each day (for both boys now) but the Eats Amazing blog has evolved over the years, so although you’ll still see me sharing the occasional packed lunch, the blog now covers all aspects of feeding kids, including family friendly recipes for all occasions, fun food tutorials, seasonal themed fun food ideas, easy recipes aimed at teaching kids basic cooking skills, growing your own food with kids, video tutorials and of course plenty of ideas and information to help you pack lunches!
I also run an online shop here on the Eats Amazing site offering lunch boxes, tools and accessories to help you create your own fun food at home. I'm always sourcing fun new products so if you want to delight your kids with animal shaped boiled eggs, googly eyed fruit and veg or unicorn sandwiches, head over to the Eats Amazing Shop - you never know what you're going to find there!
I spend far too much of my time on social media, so if I'm not creating new recipes, working here on the blog or packing up parcels full of bento goodies then you'll probably find me on my Facebook page, in the Eats Amazing Lunch Packing Community Group, or on Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube or Twitter - do come on over and join me!
