Making Toast Fun - Day 2

Continuing my toast theme, here are 3 more toast 'meals' that I have made for Small Child in the last few days.

This butterfly themed toast plate was at the request of Small Child.  I cut the butterflies from toast using cookie cutters, then decorated them with the scraps of toast and a couple of food picks.  I added a couple of foam stickers too; Small Child loves his stickers and was delighted to stick them on himself once he'd finished eating.

Day two of 'nothing but toast' and Small Child was really upset when it came to breakfast time.  He really wanted cereal, but the doctor said definitely no dairy so back to the toast it was.  He soon cheered up when he saw the Lego toast though, and enjoyed building with it then carefully eating each piece so that the 'blocks' got smaller but still looked like Lego.

For lunch I decided to get out the FunBites cutter again, and made Small Child a mini toast safari.  I cut the toast into pieces using the FunBites Cube It cutter, then skewered them in little piles using animal food picks.

They didn't hang around very long, as they were soon devoured by a hungry Small Child.  I'm hoping his increased appetite means a return to health at long last!
