    Fun Easter Food: Strawberry Carrots Recipe

    This fun and easy strawberry carrots recipe is perfect for decorating Easter cakes and desserts or serving up as cute Easter treat that kids will love!

    Today I have a quick and easy fun food tutorial for you that's perfect for Easter!

    These simple strawberry carrots are easy to make and perfect for decorating cakes, desserts, or just for serving up as a standalone Easter treat.

    With just 2 ingredients, this simple recipe is great for making with kids this Easter season, they'll love dipping the strawberries, piping the lines and of course not forgetting licking the bowl afterwards!

    How to make strawberry carrots - fun food for kids this Easter from Eats Amazing UK

    As well as a fun food idea for Easter, these cute carrot strawberries would be great to serve up at a garden themed party or to take along to a family picnic this summer too!

    How to make Carrot Strawberries for Easter - fun food for kids from Eats Amazing

    Simple Strawberry Carrots

    Ingredients:

    • 250g strawberries
    • 150g orange candy melts

    How to make carrot strawberries - ingredients

    Method: 

    Place the orange candy melts in a small microwave safe bowl and melt following packet instructions.

    How to make carrot strawberries - step 1 melt the candy buttons

    Line a plate or tray with baking paper. Holding them by the green leaves, dip each of the strawberries into the candy melts to completely cover them.

    How to make carrot strawberries - step 2 dip the strawberries

    Place on the lined plate and pop in the fridge for a few minutes until completely set.

    Meanwhile, pour the remaining melted candy melt mixture into a disposable piping bag or small freezer bag.

    Once the strawberry coating is set, snip off the corner of the piping bag and pipe lines over the strawberries.

    How to make carrot strawberries - step 4 - pipe over lines with leftover candy melts

    Return to the fridge for a few more minutes until completely set.

    Serve and enjoy!

     

    Note: The strawberry carrots can be made up to a day in advance and stored in the fridge until ready to serve. Make sure you use very fresh strawberries without any bruising or damage, especially if you need to make them in advance.
