Today I'm sharing a few more of the bento lunches that I made for Small Child last term - this time I'm sharing lunches with a garden theme. All of these garden themed bento lunch ideas are quite different from each other (I like to provide variety as much as possible when packing lunches) but they are all simple and easy to put together, so hopefully this will provide a little extra packed lunch inspiration for the new school year when it arrives!
The first lunch I'm sharing was packed in our yellow Yumbox UK bento box. In this lunch I packed some flatbreads, roast chicken slices rolled and swewered on a bee cupcake pick, a Babybel cheese, with a flower cut from the wax to decorate, sugar snap peas and baby sweetcorn, which I sliced into little 'flowers' and decorated with cute garden bento picks and a silicone leaf divider, blueberries and strawberries, decorated with leaf bento picks and some organic strawberry yoghurt. I chopped an Organix Goodies banana and date fruit bar and popped it in the smallest compartment, then finished the lunch off with a grass shaped silicone divider to decorate.
The second lunch was packed in our pink Yumbox Panino bento box, which is ideal for larger foods like this fun flower sandwich. You can find full instructions for making this sandwich over on my recent garden themed sandwiche ideas post. I popped the sandwich (filled with ham and houmous) on top of a couple of silicone lettuce leaf dividers to hold it in place, and added a mini Babybel cheese, with a flower cut from the wax to decorate. On the side I packed some mini peppers, grapes, blueberries, a few raisins and some dried banana chips. I decorated the lunch with cute ladybird and bee bento picks and some 3D silicone flower bento picks.
The third lunch was packed in our Polar Gear bento box. This was a leftovers lunch, for which I packed some courgette and bacon pasta leftover from dinner the night before, a silicone lettuce cup full of grated cheese to sprinkle on it, a sliced plum and some blueberries and red grapes. I decorated the pasta with flowers cut from carrots using mini bento cutters, and the rest of the lunch with fun bento picks - a rabbit mini fork pick, ladybird and bee picks and some 3D flower picks.
Last but not least, the fourth lunch was another one packed in our yellow Yumbox UK Bento Box. In this lunch I packed ham sandwiches made with a sandwich thin, which I cut into fun shapes using a puzzle sandwich cutter and decorated with ladybird and bee bento picks, slices of cucumber with carrot flowers inserted into the middle of them, a plum, which I cut in half (removing the stone) and decorated with leaf bento picks, blueberries and some organic yoghurt. I filled the little treat well with a few raisins and a strawberry, which I topped with a flower bento pick to decorate.
I think I could have happily eaten all of these lunches myself!

These are awesome. I have been a bit lazy on the lunch making lately as we have been all over the place, but you've inspired me to give these a go.
