Today I'm excited to announce that I'm a guest poster over on the Joules blog!
Joules asked me to share some fun back to school food ideas for children with their blog readers, so I pulled together some of my favourite ideas for making healthy food fun, with simple tips for packing fun lunches that children will love to eat!
I had a lot of fun shooting the photos for this post, and as usual my boys thoroughly enjoyed eating the food once I was done. I used some gorgeous props from the Joules shop in the photos, and though Joules didn't ask me to write about them I am delighted to recommend their lunch bags for packed lunches this year, they have 4 lovely designs to suit both boys and girls, they appear to be made to a really high quality and they each come with a bonus free lunch box too.
My 8 year old immediately earmarked the shark design for his new lunch bag and my 3 year old will be sporting the dinosaur themed lunch bag for his packed lunches when he starts at preschool this September, so I look forward to making some fun lunches to match the bags!
You may also be able to spot some of the super cute dog themed plates and mugs from the Barking range in my photos, my boys are smitten with their new doggy plates and mugs and I'm rather taken with the cute matching oven gloves! I've just spotted gorgeous matching tea towels and an apron too over on the Joules website, I may need to add them to our collection (but don't tell my husband!).
As well as packed lunch ideas, I've also shared two of my favourite after school healthy snack ideas to help keep the hungry hoards satisfied until dinner time!
You'll find all the details of my fun back to school food ideas over on the Joules blog here.

Disclosure: I was commissioned to write a post for the Joules blog but I enjoyed the project so much that I've also chosen to share some of the details (with permission) here on the Eats Amazing blog. I was gifted some Joules products for photography purposes and compensated for my time spent writing and photographing for the Joules blog, however all opinions expressed in both posts are my own.
