You'll also find all the details for these 4 fun food ideas below, why not let the kids have a go at making them themselves?
First up are my funny face apples. I used marshmallows to jazz up simple apples with oversized eyes and the kids loved them, they were fighting over the last one! Check out full details for how to make them here: Funny Face Apples Fun Food Tutorial, they're SO easy!
Another simple idea is my funny face bagel. Here I used a mini Babybel cheese to add eyes, for a quick and easy fun lunch! Find out all the details and a full video tutorial for this lunch here: Funny Face Bagel Bento Lunch Tutorial.
One of my favourite ways to add eyes to food is to use candy eyeballs. I sometimes think I single-handedly keep Wilton in business, I buy so many of them! From Apple Bugs to Marshmallow Penguins, Monster Jam Tarts to Penguin Sandwiches, there are so many ways you can use these fun edible eyeballs with food! I buy mine from Amazon, but you can also make your own homemade icing eyes too, it's a fun project that's easier than you might think!
Last but not least, my absolute favourite (and by far the easiest) way to add eyes to food is to use googly eye bento picks. They're my go-to tool for every day packed lunches - just pop a few eye picks in any food and you've got an instant fun lunch! You can find them in the Eats Amazing shop here: Googly Eye Bento Picks Set 1 & Googly Eye Bento Picks Set 2, or have a look at some of the other ways I use them here: Fun Food with Eye Bento Picks.
