Fun and easy mozzarella snowmen recipe - perfect for a Christmas appetiser

I've got several Christmas treat recipes to share with you this festive season (it's definitely been the kind of year for copious amounts of cookies!), so I thought I'd squeeze in a healthier recipe to balance them out a bit. These mozzarella snowmen are fun to make and perfect for a Christmas or winter themed appetiser.

They're really quick and easy to put together so you can either make them yourself or lay out the ingredients and let the kids have a go at building their own snowmen. If you're feeling extra creative, why not pair them with my easy cucumber Christmas trees for an extra special snack platter!

I used black sesame seeds for my snowmen's eyes and buttons, but if you can't find them (I found mine in the baking section at Sainsburys), you can use other seeds such as poppy seeds or chia seeds instead. The mozzarella pearls were also from Sainsburys - they seem to be slightly larger than the mozzarella pearls I've bought from other supermarkets in the past so they were perfect for this recipe.
