    Fun Monster Bento Lunch

Today I have a simple but fun monster bento lunch to share. This lunch was packed in my Goodbyn Bynto lunch box, a box I reviewed in the summer (see my Goodbyn lunch box review here) and really enjoy using for Small Child's lunches. The Bynto is deceptively spacious, so great for all ages, and I really like the slightly quirky three compartment design which makes for a really versatile lunch box.

In this lunch I packed ham sandwiches on seeded bread, a silicone cup full of sweetcorn, cheddar cheese stars, cut into shape with a mini bento cutter and popped into mini star shaped silicone cups, an Organix oaty bar (under the sweetcorn), some red pepper strips and an apple, which I popped into a jumbo silicone cup to stop it from rolling around to much. Small Child decorated the apple with eye bento picks and monster hands cupcake picks, then I topped the sandwiches with a robot monster cupcake ring and finished the monster lunch off with an eyeball cupcake ring in the sweetcorn.

Small Child absolutely loved this lunch, especially the monster apple, the idea for which was entirely his own!

My daughter loves to pack her lunch bento style. Every once in awhile I surprise her and pack it for her. She will flip for this cute design! Glad I spotted it at What Kids Eat Wednesday.
