My boys absolutely love the minions, even before they saw the first Despicable Me film the cute little minions had seized their imaginations, so it's no surprise that a minion theme is often requested when I'm packing lunches!
I've made several minion themed fun foods over the last few years - from minion cupcakes to minion rice salads, minion food art to minion sandwiches, and of course a minion bento lunch or two thrown in for good measure! Today I've got another minion lunch to share with you, this one packed in our Yumbox Classic bento box, yellow to match the minion skin colour of course!
In this lunch I packed mini cheddar crackers in a yellow silicone cup, rolled ham, skewered on eye bento picks and popped into a blue silicone cup, tinned sweetcorn (drained) and green grapes, which I decorated with minion eyes. I made the minion eyes by cutting a mini Babybel cheese in half, then used cucumber skin to make the straps and eyeballs (I used a mini bento cutter to cut the tiny circles, but you could also try using the end of a plastic drinking straw if you don't have one). I also packed some natural yoghurt mixed with desiccated coconut and a little minion cookie (I found these in the pound shop).
As always, with minion themed food, this lunch was a hit! Do your kids love the minions as much as mine do?

Hi Anca, what would you like to buy? I think I've shared all details of the tools I used for this lunch in the post above, but please ask if there is something specific you are looking for!
