Bear Themed Yumbox Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

Welcome back to Fun Food Friday! Have you been making any fun food recently?  Whether it be lovely lunches, creative cakes, or a recipe you’ve blogged, please link up at the end of this post and share the inspiration around.

My fun food for today is a bear themed lunch made in our Yumbox bento box.  This one came about because I found some fun shaped pasta on a shopping trip recently, and Small Child was desperate for me to cook some for him! I used the bear shapes for today's lunch, but I also found space  and sea life themed pasta in the same range, so I expect they'll make an appearance in future lunches! I also used my CuteZcute Animal Palz set to mould the egg into a bear - if you like the look of it then keep your eye's peeled (ha ha!) - I'm excited to announce that the new CuteZcute Animal Palz set will be available in the Eats Amazing Shop very soon!

In this lunch Small Child had bear pasta, mixed with small cubes of cheddar cheese and finely chopped raw yellow pasta.  On the side he had a hard boiled egg, moulded into a bear and popped into a silicone cup to hold it securely, cucumber and raw carrot bears, with cheese features, cut using mini bento cutters, sliced strawberries, raisins and some organic strawberry yoghurt.  I added bear picks to the fruit, and a small pile of bear shaped sprinkles for him to add to his yoghurt.

Eats Amazing - Bear themed Yumbox lunch with cuteZcute animal palz eggI added mini bento cutlery to his lunch bag for him, along with a couple of mini ice packs (I use these animal ice packs as they are a great size for packed lunches and very cute too!).  He ate most of this lunch, leaving only half of the egg yolk and a carrot bear.

Now it’s your turn, what fun food have you been making recently? Please link up your foodie posts below and share the inspiration around. Do feel free to link up Instagram, Facebook or Twitter pictures if you don’t have a blog of your own. Anything goes, as long as it’s edible!

A few quick reminders before you link up; please visit some of the other blogs that have linked up and leave them a comment – we all love comments! If you are linking up from your blog, please grab the button below too, and put it either in your blog post or somewhere on your blog. Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I'm by no means a perfect mother but I can make a fun lunch at least! The bear pasta is really cool isn't it, it went down very well!
