Easy Mint Flavour Oreo Penguins Fun Food Tutorial

Today I’m sharing two blog posts with you – a fun (and totally delicious!) Chocolate Mint Avocado Pudding Recipe and this post, in which I'll show you how to make the cute mint flavour Oreo penguins that I used to decorate the puddings with.

These yummy penguin Oreos are really easy to make - why not get the kids to give them a go themselves?

New mint flavour Oreos are part of the Oreo flavours range, which also includes Strawberry Cheesecake, Peanut Butter and new Choc’o Brownie flavour. Each of the flavours has it's own unique personality, with mint being cool, of course!

When designing my fun dessert, I kept the cool personality in mind - you literally can't get much cooler than penguins from the chilly South Pole!

Easy Mint Flavour Oreo Penguins

Ingredients: 

• 4 mint flavour Oreos
• 4 giant white chocolate buttons
• small tube of ready made writing icing
• 8 edible candy eyeballs
• 4 mini chocolate beans

Method: 

Gather together your supplies.

Using the writing icing, stick a white chocolate button to the front of a mint flavour Oreo, leaving a space at the top for the eyes and beak.

Attach the eyes using a little more of the writing icing, leaving a gap between them for the beak.

Attach a mini chocolate bean between the eyes, again using the writing icing as the edible 'glue'.

Repeat until you have as many penguins as you need.

Leave the penguins lying flat (to give the writing icing a chance to dry and set) until ready to serve.

Use the Oreo penguins to decorate fun winter desserts, like my Chocolate Mint Avocado Pudding!
