In honour of my partnership with DisneyLife β the service that gives you Disney movies, TV, books and music, it has been βDisney Weekβ this week here on the Eats Amazing blog! Today, on the 5th and final day, Iβm sharing my Finding Nemo themed picnic.
If you have a Finding Nemo fan in the house, (big or small!) theyβll love these fun Disney Finding Nemo inspired picnic recipes, from Turtle Bread Rolls to Cheesy Shark's Teeth, Seaweed Skewers to Nemo Clementines, Starfish Beach Yogurt Pots and not forgetting some sparkling Ocean Bubbles for a fun finishing treat!
A the start of this week DisneyLife revealed the top 20 family picnic spots in Britain (as voted for in a national poll of parents), with Three Cliffs Bay in Gower, Wales in the winning spot and Padley Gorge in Derbyshire coming in a very close second. Nearly all of the parents surveyed (98%) agreed that a family picnic in a beautiful location is one of the best things to do in the summer holidays, and I couldnβt agree more! If youβre heading off to the beach this summer, why not bring a finding Nemo themed picnic along for extra ocean magic!
So far though, our summer has been delivering plenty of typical British weather (that would be constant rain, for those of you blessed with better weather!), so Iβm finding the DisneyLife service to be a real sanity saver now that school has finished. Weβve been sitting down together to watch our favourite Disney films and have even enjoyed some indoor picnics to go with them. With hundreds of movies, thousands of TV episodes, books and music to watch, stream and download, weβve got all the entertainment we need until the sun shines again and we can head out for more exciting picnic spots than our living room floor!
The DisneyLife service costs just Β£4.99 per month with no annual contract. Thereβs something new to enjoy every week, so you can discover all the latest Disney magic and rediscover classic Disney favourites too.

Score a fin shape into each side of the satsuma, in the gap between the bands.
Gently peel the fins away so that they stick out on each side of the satsuma.
Glue two googly eyes onto one end of the satsuma, then draw on a mouth with the marker pen.

Starfish yogurt pots
Ingredients:
- 400g thick Greek yogurt
- 60g crunchy granola
- 1 pack Organic gummy star sweets

Spoon yogurt into 4 small plastic tubs and smooth down with the back of the spoon.
Place the granola into a strong plastic freezer bag and seal. Bash granola with the end of a rolling pin until crushed and sand-like.
Divide the granola between the 4 tubs, layering over the top of the yogurt.
Finish by adding 2-3 gummy βstarfishβ to each pot to decorate.
Store in the fridge until ready to pack for your picnic.
Ocean Bubbles
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle sugar free lemonade
- Blue food colouring
- Finding Nemo stickers (optional)
Method:
First pour out a glass full of lemonade to reduce the amount of liquid in the bottle, as it will fizz up significantly when you add the food colouring!
Add a splash of food colouring to the bottle, then immediately replace the lid, as the lemonade will react to the food colouring and fizz up for a minute or two.
Once the lemonade has stopped fizzing, decant the blue lemonade into 4 smaller bottles.
Decorate the bottles with Nemo themed stickers if wanted.
