Monster Themed Easy Chocolate Popcorn Balls
Ingredients:
- 50g plain popcorn
- 30g raisins
- 200g dark chocolate
- handful edible candy eyeballs
Method:
Measure out the plain popcorn and raisins into a large bowl.
Break up the dark chocolate and place it in a microwave safe bowl.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring between each one to ensure it melts evenly. Be careful not to overheat or burn the chocolate, heat only until just melted and smooth.
Pour the melted dark chocolate over the popcorn and raisins.
Stir well until the popcorn is completely coated in the chocolate.
Spoon the chocolate covered popcorn and raisin mixture into silicone muffin cases.
Push 3 candy eyes into the top of each popcorn ball - they should be held in place by the melted chocolate.
Place the filled muffin cases onto a tray or plate and place in the fridge to chill until completely set - around 15-20 minutes.
Remove the popcorn balls from the muffin cases.
Serve up for a fun Halloween treat!
NOTE: The popcorn balls are best eaten fresh but will also keep for a few days in an airtight container – store in a cool dry place until ready to serve.
