    Simple Froggie Lunch

I'm continuing to share a few more of the lunches from my archives this week, as we are still enjoying our school holidays.  This lunch came about one morning last month when I was feeling a little devoid of inspiration (and running low on interesting food!).  I got out my CuteZcute cutter in the hope that it would help me make lunch fun.  Small Child chose the frog face from the set, and so I put together a simple froggie lunch for him.

In this lunch Small Child had a froggie sandwich, filled with German sausage slices and cut into a frog face using the cuteZcute cutter. On the side he had some cucumber slice 'lily pads', decorated with a couple of froggie food picks, and a satsuma, peeled and pulled apart into segments in an attempt to make it look like a lily flower.  He also had a little chocolate treat, and a couple of raisin biscuits, also known as 'dead fly biscuits' in our house!Eats Amazing - Simple Froggie Lunch

I filled his frog shaped snack box with red grapes, topped with a homemade dragonfly pick (a tutorial to make your own food picks can be found here), and filled a butterfly snack box with organic strawberry yoghurt for his after school snack.  I decorated the yoghurt with mini chocolate 'jazzies' and a few rainbow sprinkles.

There was nothing left of his lunch at the end of the school day, and his snack didn't last long either!
