    Science Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

Hello, and welcome back to Fun Food Friday! Have you been making any fun food recently?  Whether it be lovely lunches, creative cakes, or a recipe you’ve blogged, please link up at the end of this post and share the inspiration around.

My fun food for today is science themed lunch that I made for Small Child yesterday.  His school were belatedly celebrating World Book Day, combined with a special themed day celebrating inventors and inventions. Small Child LOVES dressing up and chose to go as a crazy inventor - here he is in all his finery!  I must admit that I had forgotten about the dress up day, so in between making lunch and feeding Small Baby his morning porridge I was also busy cutting down one of Mr Amazing's old shirts to fit him.  Thank goodness for multi-tasking skills!

In this lunch Small Child had a chicken sandwich, decorated with the atom symbol using edible marker pens. On the side he had sugar snap peas, carrots, cut into stars using a mini bento cutter, an apple, a plastic test tube filled with raisins, and a pot of natural yoghurt dotted with rainbow sprinkles.

I'm assuming he enjoyed this lunch, he certainly ate it all!
