    Panda Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

Good morning, and welcome to another Fun Food Friday! Thank you if you linked up last week, there were lots of brilliant posts linked up as usual! I'm slightly behind this week (will try to catch up this morning!) but I do my best to comment on and tweet every post that’s linked up, and I pin them all to my special Fun Food Friday Pinterest board too.  If you’ve been making any fun food recently, whether it be lovely lunches, creative cakes, or a recipe you’ve blogged, please do join in the link up below and share the inspiration around!

Today we have pandas again, this time in the Yumbox.  We love pandas, and we love our CuteZcute Animal Palz kit, it just makes the cutest boiled eggs ever! I also wanted to use up some leftover rice from dinner the night before - one of my favourite things about bento lunches is the fact that you can put pretty much anything in a bento box, it's so good for using up those extra bits and pieces and avoiding waste!

In this lunch Small Child had leftover basmati rice, mixed with some chopped yellow pepper and cucumber to make a simple rice salad.  On the side he had a hard boiled egg, shaped into a panda with the help of our CuteZcute Animal Palz Kit, some raw yellow pepper strips and cucumber bears (cut using a mini bento cutter), grapes and blueberries decorated with panda picks, and some natural yoghurt with a little honey swirled in the top. I finished the lunch off with a little handful of dark chocolate chips, decorated with rice with a couple of panda fork picks and added a mini spoon and fork set to his lunch bag.

Small Child obviously enjoyed this lunch - there wasn't a scrap of it left when I picked him up from school, not even a grain of rice!

Now it’s your turn, what fun food have you been making recently? Please link up your foodie posts below and share the inspiration around. You can also link up Instagram, Facebook or Twitter pictures if you don’t have a blog of your own.

A few quick reminders before you link up; please visit some of the other blogs that have linked up and leave them a comment – we all love comments! If you are linking up from your blog, please grab the button below too, and put it either in your blog post or somewhere on your blog. Both old and new posts are very welcome, and do feel free to link up several posts if you’d like.

Wow - your 'yumboxes' look so wonderfully organised!
A far cry from the sandwich, water bottle and apple that I used to give my girls - they're not that old, but things move on so quickly!!
