    Garden Themed Tortilla Spiral Lunch

In the midst of all the rain we've had this winter (January was the wettest we've had for over a 100 years here in the UK!), I find myself longing for summer.  Lovely, warm, summer; picnics in the park, sandcastles on the beach, and lounging around in the garden... Back to reality though, as our garden is currently a mass of puddles and broken fence panels that came down in the last storm we had, so that is definitely but a dream! In an attempt to recapture that dream, here's a lovely summery garden themed lunch!

In this lunch Small Child had a tortilla wrap, spread with cream cheese, wafer thin chicken slices and lettuce, then rolled up and sliced to make tortilla spirals.  I skewered the spirals on mini plastic skewers, then decorated with leaf picks, and ladybird & bee picks.  On the side he had a kiwi fruit, cut in half with a zig-zag pattern to make flowers, some raw carrot flowers, and a mini Babybel Cheese, with a flower cut from the wax to decorate.

Eats Amazing - Tortilla wrap swirls in garden themed lunchI added a little chocolate gnome to finish the lunch off (it was actually a chocolate Santa, but I thought he could pass as a gnome too!).  Small Child ate all of this lunch, so I'm assuming he enjoyed it.

Now bring back summer, I miss it!
