These easy Mummy sandwich kebabs make fun a Halloween party food idea for kids and are perfect for adding spooky fun to Halloween themed lunch boxes too!

Following on from the Bitey Vampire Bagels I posted earlier this week, today I have another fun Halloween sandwich idea to share - this time for Mummy Sandwich Kebabs!

I shared an easy sandwich kebab recipe as a part of my series of back to school fun sandwiches week last month, and it was such a hit that I thought you might enjoy this fun Halloween variation too!

Be sure to check out my recipe video so you can see just how easy these are to make!

These mummy sandwiches are easy to make and would be perfect for Halloween party food as well as spooky packed lunches for your kids this October.

    Halloween Mummy Sandwich Kebabs

    Ingredients:

    • 1 slice white bread
    • 2 slices cheese
    • ¼ cucumber
    • edible candy eyeballs
    • 1 tsp cream cheese
    • Bamboo or plastic skewers

    Method:

Prepare all the ingredients: Slice the bread, cheese and cucumber into squares approx 2cm in size.

Thread the ingredients onto the skewers, alternating between bread and fillings. If packing for a lunch box, make sure you place cheese between the wet cucumber and the dry bread to avoid it going soggy in transit.

Using a little cream cheese as 'glue', fix 2 candy eyeballs near the top of each mummy kebab.

Repeat with more skewers until you have several mummy kebabs and all the ingredients have been used up.

Pack into a lunch box or serve immediately.

You could also pack or serve the components separately (try popping them in silicone muffin cups to divide them up) and add a few skewers so that your kids can build their own before eating.
