    Spooky Skull Bento for Halloween

Today I have another fun Halloween lunch to share with you - this one is a spooky skull bento that I made for Small Child last week. This lunch was inspired by the skull egg mould that I recently bought and also started stocking in the Eats Amazing Shop - Small Child really wanted me to make him a skull egg and I thought it was absolutely perfect for Halloween themed lunches!

In this lunch Small Child had a bread roll, which I filled with roast beef and decorated with pieces of Bear yoyo (dried fruit strips) to form a skull.  On the side I packed a skull egg which I popped into a silicone cup to hold it in place, some blueberries, some chopped cooked beetroot, which I topped with a skeleton cupcake pick and the remains of the bear yoyo, which I decorated with a ghostie pick. This lunch was packed in our Yumbox Panino bento box.

I also packed a matching snack with this lunch - a small clementine, decorated with a sharpie to make another skull and some sliced cucumber, which I decorated with a robot skeleton cupcake ring.  The snack was packed in our Goodbyn Snacks container.

Small Child loved this lunch, and Small Baby actually burst into tears when I closed the box to send it to school because he liked the 'monster sandwich' so much, so I made him an almost identical one for his own lunch at home!
