    Simple Roast Chicken Lunch

This lunch was a simple one to throw together, and once it was done I decided to make it a bit more fun for Small Child with a couple of little additions.  Further down this post I've shown a before and after picture so you can see what a difference a couple of picks and some sprinkles can make.

In this lunch Small Child had a selection of nibbles; chopped roast chicken, raw carrot sticks, fresh peas in their pods (Small Child absolutely loves podding his own peas!) and a small stack of ritz crackers.  On the side he had natural yoghurt topped with a pinch of chocolate sprinkles, and some fresh melon chunks topped with a couple of animal picks.  I also added a cute mini spoon for him to use for the yoghurt.

Below you can see how I 'jazzed up' this fairly plain lunch to make it more fun and appealing to a small child.  It obviously worked, because he ate the lot.
