    Nibbles & Lego Lunch

I've been making an effort to try to use all of the lunchboxes in my collection recently (yes, I have enough lunch boxes to call it a collection, I may have a slight lunch box problem!), and top of the list for Small Child was his favourite Lego lunchbox.  This lunch was very simple and made up of bits and pieces that needed using up - I was running low on fresh supplies that day.

In this lunch Small Child had a selection of nibbles; raw red pepper strips, purple carrot disks, Cheese oaty bakes (I saw these in the supermarket and thought I'd give them a go - they are yummy!) decanted into a Lego snack box, wafer thing chicken slices, rolled and skewered on polka dot picks, a cheese string, red grapes and a peeled satsuma. I added a grass shaped silicone divider to help keep the food in place, and decorated with home made lego picks (more details on how I made them can be found in this post).

I also filled another Lego snack box with yoghurt covered fruit flakes and raisins, and added a reusable food pouch filled with organic vanilla yoghurt to his lunch bag (not shown).

Small Child was delighted to have another lunch in his Lego lunch box!
