Hello, and welcome to Fun Food Friday! There were lots of amazing posts linked up last week, I'm still working my way through them now! I do my best to comment on and tweet every post that's linked up, and I pin them all to my special Fun Food Friday Pinterest board too.  If you've been making any fun food recently, whether it be lovely lunches, creative cakes, or a recipe you’ve blogged, please do join in the link up below and share the inspiration around!

Today's fun food is a quick and easy lunch that I made with the help of Small Child earlier this week.  There wasn't really a theme to this one, but together we added a few little touches to make it fun!

In this lunch Small Child had ham and houmous sandwiches on seeded bread, cut into circles and decorated with smiley faces cut from ham and cheese (Small Child's contribution!).  On the side he had some raw mange tout, red pepper strips, fresh coconut pieces, raisins and some Greek style natural yoghurt, which I decorated with a few smiley face sprinkles.  Small Child choose some animal picks (from this set, this set and this set) and added it to the lunch, then we finished it off with the special treat of a chocolate egg from his Easter stash!

This lunch was all eaten up by Small Child, who really loves getting involved with making his lunches when he can.  I find that he is much more likely to finish off his whole lunch if he has made it himself, or been involved in choosing what has gone into it.

Now it’s your turn, what fun food have you been making recently? Please link up your foodie posts below and share the inspiration around.  You can also link up Instagram, Facebook or Twitter pictures if you don’t have a blog of your own.

A few quick reminders before you link up; please visit some of the other blogs that have linked up and leave them a comment – we all love comments! If you are linking up from your blog, please grab the button below too, and put it either in your blog post or somewhere on your blog. Both old and new posts are very welcome, and do feel free to link up several posts if you’d like.
