    Dinosaur Dippy Lunch

Another dinosaur lunch! Dinosaurs seem to be a bit of a theme in our lunchboxes at the moment, but Small Child does like them! They do provide a nice easy 'boy' theme for me to work with.

In this lunchbox, Small Child had a little pot of organic houmous in my favourite 'dippy' lunchbox.  I toasted a pitta bread and cut it into triangle 'dinosaur teeth', then added some cucumber and carrot 'dinosaur spikes' on the side.  Small Child choose a couple of his favourite dinosaur picks to decorate the lunch with, and then I added a Babybel 'dinosaur eye' to finish it off.  I used silicone dividers to seperate the wet from the dry foods.

For dessert I froze some organic vanilla yoghurt into 'dinosaur bones', and served them up with a peeled clementine in a tyrannosaurus silicone cup, with some black grapes.

Small Child enjoyed his second dinosaur lunch in a row!

Grace, this is awesome. Dinosaur lunches will never become dull. I love the yoghurt bones - a great idea. Also, the dinosaur picks are perfect. I was thinking of making some of my own using our laminator but I can imagine my boy bending them beyond recognition Lol

Thanks Jill! The dinosaur picks were a present from a friend last year - I wish I knew where she got them, I would love more. Go for it with the homemade picks, sounds like a great idea!
