    Angry Birds Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

This last week has flown by, I can't believe it's Fun Food Friday again already! Have you been making any fun food recently?  Whether it be lovely lunches, creative cakes, or a recipe you’ve blogged, please link up below and share the inspiration around.  Anything goes, as long as it’s edible!

I intended to make lots of valentines themed lunches with hearts and kisses this week, but poor Small Child has been at home all week because his school is closed due to the floods! He's going to be off for a few more weeks, until a new temporary school has been set up on a new site, so I won't be needing to make packed lunches for a while.  I'm pretty sure I'll get withdrawal symptoms at some point, and make him a bento lunch or two anyway, but in the meantime I am without a valentines lunch to share with you today! If you've made any lovely valentines food, please link up and get me back in the mood for hearts and pink and things! (non-valentines food very welcome too)

Today's lunch is actually rather anti-valentines, as it has an angry birds theme! It was very simple to put together, but made my Small Child very happy.  In this lunch Small Child had a ham sandwich on seeded bread, cut into a pig shape using my favourite cuteZcute cutter.  I added a little crown pick from the princess pick set to turn it into the king pig, and built him some defences from bread sticks.  On the side he had raw carrot sticks and a cheese stick (cut into two), decorated with plastic angry birds cupcake rings, and some slices of orange, decorated with another angry bird cupcake ring.

I also included a reusable food pouch filled with organic strawberry yoghurt in his lunch bag (not shown).

Now it’s your turn, what fun food have you been making recently?  Please link up your foodie posts below and share the inspiration around.   Do feel free to link up Instagram, Facebook or Twitter pictures if you don’t have a blog of your own. Anything goes, as long as it’s edible!

A few quick requests before you link up; please visit some of the other blogs that have linked up and leave them a comment – we all love comments! If you are linking up from your blog, please grab the button below too, and put it either in your blog post or somewhere on your blog. Both old and new posts very welcome, and do feel free to link up several posts if you’d like.
