Back to my healthy food alphabet of alphabet bento lunches today! Can you guess today's letter? If you’ve been following the series so far then you’ll probably have guessed that this lunch celebrates the letter D. It was a bit of a jumble of bits and pieces, but I was pleased to have come up with a couple of foods that began with D, tenuous though they may be!
In this lunch Small Child had some sesame and poppy seed crackers, topped with a D cut from cheddar cheese, raw yellow pepper sticks and carrot Disks topped with a Dinosaur cupcake pick, a Dog shaped silicone cup, filled with mini cubes of cheddar cheese and surrounded by Dried mixed fruit (raisins, chopped apricots and chopped apple rings), chicken slices, rolled and skewered on letter D alphabet food picks and a Diamond pick, strawberries and red grapes, Decorated with Duck and Duckling Bento Picks, and some Dark Chocolate chips, Decorated with a Donut pick.
Small Child seemed to enjoy this lunch, leaving only some of the cheese cubes and a couple of the carrot disks. What would you put in a D themed alphabet lunch?
