These fun and easy Christmas Bauble Macarons take just minutes to make, so they're a perfect last minute festive party food idea, dessert or treat!

Today I have a really quick and easy Christmas food hack to share, in the form of these quick and easy Christmas Macaron Baubles.

This is such a simple idea I can't call it a recipe (unless you make your own macarons from scratch, in which case you are a far braver cook than I, especially at this crazy busy time of year!) so I'm calling it a festive fun food tutorial instead.

I was inspired to make these fun festive macarons after spotting some gorgeous shimmery macarons in my local supermarket. This brought to mind the fun Halloween macarons that I decorated in October and I thought there must be a fun festive spin I could put on them for this time of year! It was my oldest who suggested baubles - and they turned out just how we imagined!

    Method:

Split the macarons in half (be careful, they’re delicate!) by sliding a thin knife between them to lift off the top.

Cut a small length off one of the strawberry laces and bend over to form a loop. Gently press the ends into the macaron fillings then replace the top halves to put the macarons back together.
