Strawberry Milkshake Ice Cubes

This fun homemade strawberry milkshake ice cubes recipe makes a great summer drink for kids parties or tea parties! Easy recipe for kids made with fresh strawberries and organic milk.

Ingredients

  • 250 g fresh strawberries
  • 100 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 Tbsp honey optional
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Wash, hull and quarter the strawberries.
  • Place the strawberries in a food processor then add the milk, honey (if using) and vanilla extract.
  • Blend until smooth, then pour into an ice cube tray.
  • Freeze for several hours or overnight until solid
  • Once frozen, pop out of the ice cube tray and place several cubes in a glass.
  • Fill the glass with plain milk to serve.

Note: Try this recipe with raspberries instead of strawberries for an alternate flavour!
