Spooky Spider Macarons
Easy 5 minute cheat recipe for fun spider macarons, this cute Halloween dessert idea is perfect for Halloween party food and treats!
Servings: 6 macarons
Ingredients
- 6 small chocolate macarons
- 12 chocolate matchmaker sticks (any flavour)
- 1 small tube of ready made writing icing
- 12 edible candy eyeballs
Instructions
- Split the macarons in half (be careful, they're delicate!) by sliding a thin knife between them to lift off the top.
- Break or cut each chocolate matchmaker stick into 4 roughly equal pieces.
- Press 8 of the stick pieces into the middle of each macaron to form the spiders legs.
- Once all the legs are in place, pop the top back on the macaron.
- Using the writing icing, 'glue' two candy eyeballs onto the top of each spider.
- Carefully place on a plate or platter to serve.
