Quick and Easy Bee Macarons
Turn shop bought macarons into a super cute treat with this easy bee macarons fun food tutorial. Perfect for quick and easy bee themed kids party food!
Servings: 6 macarons
Ingredients
- 6 yellow cream or beige coloured macarons
- 1 black edible marker pen
- small tube of glitter writing icing
- 12 edible candy eyeballs
Instructions
- Using a black edible marker pen, draw stripes on the top of a macaron, including a thick stripe for the head. Be careful to draw lightly so that you don’t go through the delicate macaron crust.
- Using the writing icing as 'glue', stick on two edible candy eyes.
- Draw on the wings with the writing icing.
- Leave to dry for a minute or two, then place on a plate or platter to serve.
