- ½ cantaloupe Melon
- ½ honeydew melon
- ⅓ medium watermelon
Start by cutting a round slice from each melon, roughly 2cm thick.
Using mini cookie cutters or bento cutters, cut shapes from the melon slices. We cut out flowers, hearts and stars, but you can use any shapes you like.
Scoop any seeds from the remaining melon with a spoon and discard. Using a melon baller, cut spheres from the remaining melon and pop into bowls until ready to use.n
Thread the melon balls and shapes onto the skewers, alternating colours and shapes to make pretty patterns.
Place on a plate or in an airtight storage container, cover and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Equipment needed: melon baller mini cutters bamboo skewers
Note: If you're serving to younger children, you can cut off the pointy end of the bamboo skewers with kitchen scissors.
