Ingredients
100gwhite chocolate
15dried apple rings
edible candy eyeballs
Instructions
Line a baking tray or plate with grease proof or baking paper – be sure to check that it will fit in your fridge first.
Break up the white chocolate and place it in a microwave safe bowl.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring between each one to ensure it melts evenly. Be careful not to overheat or burn the chocolate, heat only until just melted and smooth.
Working quickly, dip half of each apple ring into the white chocolate to coat.
Place on the lined tray, then repeat until you have dipped as many apple rings as you require.
Once all of the apple rings have been dipped in the white chocolate, carefully place 2 candy eyeballs on the chocolate dipped part of each apple ring.
Pop the tray of apple ghosts in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until completely set.
Carefully peel from the baking paper and serve immediately on a plate or platter.
Notes
Notes: This recipe can be made several days in advance - once set, pop in an airtight container and store in cool dry place until ready to serve. If you can't find candy eyeballs, try using dark chocolate chips for eyes instead.
