Ingredients

  • 1 wholemeal sandwich thin
  • butter or spread
  • 1 slice of ham or filling of your choice
  • 1 cheddar cheese slice
  • 2 blueberries
  • 1 round slice carrot

Instructions

  • Split the sandwich thin, and using a small circle cutter, cut and remove a semi-circle ‘ear’ from each side of the bottom slice.
  • Butter and fill the sandwich with a filling of your choice, turning the ear pieces over and popping them into the gaps in the sandwich as you do so. I buttered mine and added a slice of ham to fill it. Other sandwich meats such as roast beef or chicken, or a slice of cheddar cheese would also work well for a neat and tidy sandwich!
  • Using a circle cutter with a similar diameter to the width of the sandwich thin, cut out a semi-circle from a slice of cheddar cheese and place it so that it covers the bottom half of the sandwich.
  • Take the small circle cutter and cut out two circles from the remaining cheese, popping them in place for the eyes. Top the cheese ‘eyes' with the blueberries.
  • Take the slice of carrot, and using the small circle cutter, cut out a thin crescent for the mouth. Pop the carrot mouth onto the sandwich to finish it.
