Ingredients

  • ¼ cucumber
  • ½ carrot

Instructions

  • Prepare the vegetables - wash the cucumber, peel the carrot.
  • Cut as many round slices as you'd like from the cucumber, then cut off the same amount of carrot disks with roughly the same thickness.
  • Taking some mini bento cutters (you'll find a selection in the Eats Amazing Shop, my favourites are the alphabet cutters, great for fun themed lunches!), and cut a shape from the centre of a carrot slice. Carefully remove the shape from the cutter, and set to one side.
  • Using the same cutter, cut a shape from the centre of a cucumber slice. Remove the shape, then pop it into the hole in the carrot slice. Take the carrot shape and pop it into the hole in the cucumber.
  • Repeat until all of the carrot and cucumber slices have swapped middles.
