Strawberries and Cream Cones

Serve strawberries and cream in an ice cream cone for a fun summer dessert that is perfect for school fairs, garden parties and summer party food for kids!

Ingredients

  • 300 ml fresh whipping cream
  • 400 g punnet fresh strawberries
  • 8 cup ice cream cones
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Tip the whipping cream into a bowl and whisk until thick and fluffy.
  • Carefully spoon the whipped cream into a piping bag with a large star nozzle.
  • Hull the strawberries and cut into quarters.
  • Divide the strawberries between the ice cream cones.
  • Pipe a generous swirl of whipped cream onto the top of each cone, so that it resembles an ice cream.
  • Scatter over optional sprinkles, if wanted.
  • Serve immediately.

For even more authentic looking ice-creams, try adding chocolate flakes and/or a drizzle of strawberry or chocolate sauce over the cream.
