Ingredients

  • 1 Hovis® Soft White Good Inside®* Sandwich Thin
  • butter or spread
  • 1 slice roast beef or sandwich filling of your choice
  • 1 cherry tomato
  • 2 pretzels
  • edible icing eyes

Instructions

  • First split your Sandwich Thin, butter it and add a filling of your choice to the bottom half. I buttered mine and added a slice of roast beef to fill it. Other sandwich meats such as ham or chicken, a slice of cheddar cheese or filling such as tuna mayo would also work well.
  • With a small circle cutter, roughly the same size as the cherry tomato, cut a circle from one corner of the top piece of Sandwich Thin.
  • Place the top piece of Sandwich Thin over the filling to form the sandwich. Turn the filled Sandwich Thin around so that is forms a diamond shape with the corner containing the round hole closest to you.
  • Pop the cherry tomato into the hole. If serving to a younger child it would be a good idea to cut the cherry tomato in half first to reduce the risk of choking.
  • Place two edible eyes on the sandwich above the cherry tomato 'nose'.
  • Finish with two pretzels at the top of the sandwich to form the antlers.
