Ingredients
2battered haddock goujons
handful frozen mixed peas and sweetcorn
¼medium carrot
Heinz Tomato Ketchup No Added Sugar & Salt
1sliceGouda cheese
2x 15cm bamboo skewers
Instructions
Cook the haddock goujons according to pack instructions, then leave to cool a little while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
Cook the peas and sweetcorn according to pack instructions.
Slice the carrot into rounds and cut them into stars using a mini star cutter (or cut out freehand). Lightly steam the carrot stars, or leave raw according to your child's preference.
Drain the peas and sweetcorn. Reserve 4 sweetcorn kernels and arrange the rest on the plate, covering roughly one third.
Using Heinz Tomato Ketchup No Added Sugar & Salt, draw wiggly lines to represent waves on the rest of the plate.
Build your edible sails; Slice the cheese in half along the diagonal to create two triangles. Carefully push a bamboo skewer through one corner of the cheese, then slide on a sweetcorn kernel to help hold it in place. Push the skewer through the opposite corner to make the sail and secure in place with another sweetcorn kernel. Repeat to make two cheese sails.
Once you are ready to serve the meal, push a sail into each goujon and carefully place them both on top of the ketchup waves.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Note: If the goujons are too hot when you add the sails, the cheese may melt and fall down. Be sure to cool them down a little before serving and add the sails at the last minute!
