Ingredients
1Tbspvegetable oil
2Tbspmaple syrup
1tspground cinnamon
200goats
75gdried apple rings - chopped
50gwalnuts - roughly chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (Gas mark 6/400°F).
Place the oil in a small bowl with the maple syrup and cinnamon, then stir well to combine.
Weigh out the oats into a large bowl, then add the oil mixture and stir until the oats are coated and starting to clump together.
Tip the mixture onto a baking tray or roasting tin and spread out in one even layer.
Bake oats for 10-15 minutes, giving them a good stir half-way through to help them cook evenly. Once the granola is cooked and golden, take out of the oven and leave to cool.
Once the granola is cool, tip into a large bowl and add dried apple pieces and chopped walnuts. Mix together until combined.
Store the granola in an airtight jar or container - be sure to check that it is completely cool before storing otherwise it won't stay crispy.
Notes
Serve with milk, or scatter over Greek yogurt and add chopped fresh apple for a delicious healthy treat!
