This cute and easy sprinkle puff pastry hearts recipe is perfect for using up leftover puff pastry and makes a great little treat for Valentine's Day with kids!

Ingredients
150gready-made puff pastry
red and pink sprinkles or hundreds and thousands
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 190°C (Gas mark 5/375°F). Line 2 baking trays with grease proof or baking paper.
Roll the puff pastry into a thin sheet.
Scatter sprinkles liberally over the sheet of pastry.
Roll your rolling pin over the pastry to embed the sprinkles in the top of the pastry.
Cut heart shapes from the pastry using a small cookie cutter.
Place the pastry hearts on the lined baking trays, making sure there is a little space around each one for spreading.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until cooked through, puffed up and golden.
Leave to cool for a couple of minutes, then carefully peel from the trays and place on a wire rack to cool for 5-10 minutes.
Serve warm or cold and enjoy!
Notes
Customise this recipe by using different coloured sprinkles of your choice or by cutting the pastry into different shapes to suit any theme.
