Heart Themed Easy Vegetable Kebabs for Kids

These cute and easy no-cook vegetable kebabs are perfect for a quick snack, fun lunch box side or healthy party food for kids!

Ingredients

  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 large carrot
  • 6 baby plum tomatoes
  • bamboo or plastic skewers

Instructions

  • Slice the cucumber and carrot into thick slices, around 1 cm thick.
  • Using a small heart shaped cutter, cut hearts from the cucumber and carrot slices.
  • Slice a tomato diagonally in half, then spin one of the halves around to turn it into a heart. Repeat with the other tomatoes.
  • Carefully thread the carrot, cucumber and tomato hearts onto the skewers to make your vegetable kebabs.
  • Serve immediately or pack in a lunch box.

Notes

Note: If not eating immediately, store in an air-tight container in the fridge until ready to serve.
