  • 8 raisin boxes
  • 4 sheets brightly coloured paper
  • 1 pencil
  • 1 ruler
  • 1 pair scissors
  • 20 googly eyes
  • glue stick

  • Gather your supplies. Stack the pieces of paper together and using a raisin box as a guide, mark out strips across the page as wide as the length of a raisin box.
  • Cut up the strips. I used 4 different colours of paper and cut them all out at the same time to save time, so I got 4 strips at a time.
  • Wrap each box in a strip of paper and glue together.
  • Glue a selection of googly eyes to the front of each paper-wrapped box. We had two different sizes of eyes and our monsters varied from having one to four eyes each.
