Good morning and welcome to week 29 of our ‘What Kids Eat Wednesday’ linky! Every Wednesday, I and three other family bloggers (see details below) post this weekly linky to find the best kids food ideas, from fun food for kids, easy recipes for kids, school lunch ideas to easy and healthy recipes for your family and even learning and sensory activities for kids involving food.
As I did for the first time last week, this week I’ve picked a theme chosen from the posts that have been linked up the previous week and created a mini round-up sharing as many posts that are relevant to the chosen theme as I can. This week’s theme is ‘fun snacks for kids’ and I’ve picked five yummy posts that fit the theme to feature today. A big thank you to everyone who linked up last few week, there were some great posts linked up (do pop back to last week’s post and check them all out) we’d love it if you would like to come back and link up again this week!
First of my snack themed picks this week is this Snappy Snack Mix idea from Little Sprouts Learning. I really like how it can be customised to suit your tastes (and whatever you have in the cupboard!) and it’s a great easy recipe that even the smallest child could help to make.
Next these Winter Snack Kabobs from Every Star Is Different caught my eye – I love how making this snack can be such an educational experience for kids, with an amazing amount of life skills praticed in the preparation!
These Spunomi Nice-Cream Lollies from Feeding Finn also caught my eye, what a gorgeous selection of colours, and made from all healthy ingredients – this is a combination of flavours that I can’t wait to try!
I think this Banana Biscoff Bread from Cuddles and Crumbs looks delicious – just the thing to have with a cup of warm milk when you get in from a chilly school run at this time of year!
Last but not least these Pear, Sultana and Oat Balls from Emerald + Ella look like a delicious make ahead treat, and I bet children would have loads of fun helping make them too!
If you’re a blogger and would like to link up to this week’s linky, please click here for the linky guidelines. We will check out every link and feature our favourites the following week, so if you’re looking for some quick inspiration, be sure to check back next week to see my favourite picks from this week’s linky! We’ll also be pinning all linky entries to our What Kids Eat Pinterest Board, and we’ll do our best to tweet out all the entries too.
I hope you find some great inspiration here, be sure to check out my awesome co-hosts and see what posts they picked to feature from last week too!
