Simple Valentines Day fruit salad recipe with strawberry hearts - healthy and fun Valentines food for kids - Eats Amazing UK

This Valentine's Day fruit salad makes a lovely breakfast, snack or dessert, and you can even pack it in a lunch box for a sweet and healthy Valentine's treat! It has a simple dressing with just two ingredients and is sweet and child-friendly.

The whole recipe is easy enough for a child to make, with minimal chopping and preparation needed. Older children can help to slice the grapes and make the strawberry hearts and little ones can help whisk the dressing and put the fruit salad together.

The fruit salad is really quick and easy to make so perfect for a last minute Valentine's dessert or an easy breakfast for Valentine's Day! It's full of healthy ingredients but looks pretty as a picture with the simple heart strawberries on top.

    Method:

Wash and slice the grapes lengthways. Place in a bowl with the pomegranate seeds and raspberries.

In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice and honey until combined.

Pour the juice and honey mixture over the bowl of fruit, then mix it all together with a large spoon until the fruit is coated in the dressing.

Hull the strawberries by cutting a V into the top to remove the leaves. Cut each strawberry in half so that they form hearts.
