These cute chick themed Easter smoothies are easy to make and a great healthy Easter treat for kids!

Cute and easy chick fruit smoothies for Easter - fun and healthy Easter food for kids

In my opinion Easter wouldn't be Easter without chocolate and fun Easter baking, but these's no reason not to enjoy some healthy Easter recipes alongside all the treats too.

With just 4 simple ingredients, this cute chick themed Easter smoothie is quick and to put together and there's not a drop of food colouring in sight - the gorgeous yellow comes from the all natural fruit ingredients.

Decorating the bottles or glasses to look like chicks is of course entirely optional but I think it adds a cute touch of Easter fun to the recipe.

And for the rest of the year, outside the Easter season, why not get creative - swap the beaks for mouths and add extra eyes to make them monsters, or draw glasses around the googly eyes to make them minion themed instead!

Back to Easter now though... here's how to make these cute Chick themed fruit smoothies:

  • 250g mango chunks - frozen
  • 1 large banana
  • 300ml orange juice

To decorate (optional!):

  • 2 small bottles or glasses
  • 4 googly eyes
  • glue stick
  • non-toxic marker pen
  • yellow paper straws

Method:

Start by decorating your bottles or glasses, ready for serving.

Stick on two googly eyes and draw a beak with the non-toxic marker pen.

Place all of the frozen mango, banana, orange juice and honey or maple syrup in a blender.

Blitz them all up together until smooth.

Carefully pour the smoothie into the prepared bottles or glasses.

Top with paper straws if using and serve immediately.

Enjoy!

What a cute idea! And the smoothie sounds like it would be delicious, too.
