Today I'm sharing a fun tiger themed bento box that I made for Small Child recently when he had a jungle themed dressing up day at school. At first I was utterly stumped for a costume idea, but then we remembered that he has a tiger onesie so that made the dressing up part very easy indeed! Of course I had to come up with some tiger themed food for his lunch to match, and I was really pleased with how it all came out!
In this lunch Small Child had a tiger shaped sandwich on brown bread, filled with ham and cream cheese. I cut the tiger shape out using the CuteZCute Cuddle Palz cutter kit, and decorated it with pieces of Bear yoyo (dried fruit strip) which I cut into shape using the tiger cutter and stuck on with a little honey. I also popped the sandwich onto a couple of lettuce leaves to add to the jungle feel. On the side I packed strips of raw carrot and cucumber, vaguely arranged in stripes and topped with alphabet letter picks spelling out TIGER, a clementine, to which I added stripes using a sharpie and popped into a lettuce shaped silicone cup (the orange peel was obviously discarded so I was happy to use pen on it) and some blueberries, which I topped with a little tiger food pick.
Small Child ate all of his tiger themed lunch, even the lettuce!

Holy cow that is amazing! Not going to show my daughter she would be so jealous and then make me try it (would end up one of those classic pinterest fails).

Thank you! This did take me a little more time than I usually spend on my son's lunches but it really was easy to make using the cutter set, honest!
