    Small Child Makes Lunch #3

    Mar 25, 2014 · 6 Comments

Small Child is always very interested in the process of making his lunches, and likes to get involved where he can.  Last week he asked if he could make his own lunch again, so I gave him free reign to do as he wished, helping only when requested!

In this lunch Small Child had a pitta bread, toasted and cut into triangles (I did that bit) and decorated by him with Star Wars themed plastic cake decorations.  On the side he had yellow pepper sticks (under the carrot), carrot fishes which he cut out using a mini bento cutter, a panda shaped mini container full of organic houmous, half a cheese stick decorated with a Angry Birds cupcake ring (he ate the other half while he was making the lunch!), strawberries, decorated with cute cat picks, and a container of organic strawberry yoghurt, decorated with red heart sprinkles.

Small Child was very proud of his lunch making efforts, calling it a 'mixed up lunch' because of the eclectic mix of decorations he chose for it.  He ate the whole thing, so I guess he enjoyed it!

That's excellent, he made a great job. Given the opportunity my children would just do themselves a jam sandwich and a bag of crisps I think! 😀
