As I predicted, it wasn’t long before I had a request for another Lego themed lunch! Luckily I still had some frozen yoghurt Lego blocks in the freezer, so was able to throw together a very simple Lego lunch with the aid of our homemade Lego picks. It was always my intention to switch to school dinners for a few weeks once the baby arrived, so I was a little thrown when he hadn’t made an appearance after his due date and I found myself still making lunches beyond the expected time. As a result some of my ‘9 months pregnant plus’ lunches were pretty simple, but I’m just pleased that I kept going despite my waning energy levels!
In this lunch Small Child had a tortilla wrap, filled with light mayo, shredded roast chicken, cucumber and lettuce. I sliced the wrap in half, then added Lego picks to secure them. On the side he had a peeled and chopped kiwi fruit, red grapes and frozen yoghurt Lego blocks, made using a Lego shaped silicone mould. I added another Lego pick to the fruit, and Small Child supplied me with a couple of Lego men to decorate.
