Here's a lunch from my archives. With this lunch I used my edible marker pens to add a little fun to Small Child's pitta pockets. I've done this a few times but he never seems to get bored of it. This time the pittas had some lettuce hair too!
In this lunch Small Child had a pitta bread, toasted and cut in half to form 'pitta pockets'. They were stuffed with houmous, cucumber slices and had a little lettuce on the top. On the side he had some carrots with sunshine shapes cut from them (the shapes were underneath), and a heart-shaped silicone cup filled with a mix of dried fruit, yoghurt covered fruit flakes and seeds. These were topped with a little funny face pick.
For dessert Small Child had a pot of organic apricot yoghurt, a dried fruit bar and some orange wedges topped with little panda picks at his request.
Everything got eaten, apart from some of the seeds because apparently he 'isn't keen on those'!
