Today I'm sharing a fun packed lunch that I made for Small Child recently - an easy garden bento lunch. This lunch was inspired by a fellow bento lunch packer on Instagram - I saw a cute fruit caterpillar that she made recently using our fun eye bento picks and just had to try something similar myself!
In this lunch Small Child had slices of french baguette, leftover shredded roast chicken, chopped cooked beetroot, carrot flowers, a strawberry caterpillar (just strawberries arranged in the long Yumbox compartment and topped with an eye pick), yoghurt topped with blueberries and some rasberries, decorated with a butterfly food pick. I added some further decorations to finish it off - bee and ladybird cupcake picks and a grass shaped silicone divider. This lunch was packed in our yellow Yumbox UK bento box.
Small Child really enjoyed this bento lunch, which was filled with lots of his favourite foods. He ate everything at lunchtime but 2 of the carrot flowers, which he promptly demolished immediately after school!
