Today’s lunch was originally fairly plain, but by adding my new circus picks I was able to instantly make it more fun and give it a theme too! I do love food picks for their ability to transform any meal into something altogether different!
In this lunch Small Child had pitta pizza slices (1 large pitta bread, spread with a little tomato puree, sprinkled with grated cheddar cheese and dried mixed herbs, then grilled until the cheese melted). On the side he had raw organic carrot and cucumber sticks, a peeled clementine, red grapes and a container of organic vanilla yoghurt with star sprinkles. I added the circus picks at the end; I particularly liked the bear balancing on the clementine!
